The tiles are based on clay and in the process of their manufacture are mixed with various chemicals. At the stage where they are formed, they go through special presses which determine the materials in order to get their final shape but also to acquire the durability they need. When they reach the drying stage, they are baked in special ovens that reach up to 1250 degrees Celsius.
Depending on their installation space, the tiles are divided into different categories. The two main ones are the floor tiles and the wall tiles.
General for the wall:
In general, wall tiles do not have special requirements since they do not strain much. We find them in items such as tile, mosaic and decor.
The decors are decorated with tiles. The decor is usually sold per piece and placed in special parts of the bathroom to beautify the space.
General for the floor:
The main types of floor tiles based on their construction materials are granites and ceramics. When the time comes to choose you can take into account their following characteristics.
Granites "Granite Tiles"
Made of granite, the homonymous tiles are probably the best choice for indoor and outdoor flooring. They are characterized by their resistance to extreme weather phenomena, abrasion and humidity.
Ceramics:
The production of ceramic tiles takes place at lower temperatures and have less durability compared to granites. However, they are still ideal choices for indoor and outdoor areas that have little exposure to weather phenomena. Ceramic tiles are divided according to their surface into enameled and non-enameled.
Enamelled:
They are covered with a thin layer of enamel which is capable of zeroing the absorbency of the tile. The categories of enameled tiles are glossy, matte and semi-polished
Not enameled:

Cotto tiles
