Surfaces and Finishing

The types of tiles we offer cover all options of surfaces. Each of them has its own aesthetics and functionality. From the spectacular texture of the polished to the modern simplicity of the matte and the authenticity of the natural texture. Each presents its own character and the visual result is provided to you at first sight. Below you can see an explanation of the surfaces to become your source of inspiration.

Polished Texture

Choosing a glossy surface with a soft finish, the range of tones offered to you is complete. From bright spots to dark shadows. The spectacular glow that is part of the real structure of the tile but also the surface that does not wear out and does not fade, make it undoubtedly suitable for high traffic areas such as offices, shops, hotel receptions, bathrooms and even kitchen.

With the high contrast, the marble patterns occupy a "strong" and clearer result as the light and the darker tones become bolder than they would be in a natural surface version of the same tile.

The polished texture is easy to keep clean and at the same time ensures resistance to any "scratches", scratches and stains.

Also, polished texture includes stone-shaped tiles and pressed cement mortar. In this case, the gloss adds "vibrancy" and color to the tile as well as a high degree of reflection. Keep an important note, when the tiles are wet there is a greater chance of slipping on it and they are always recommended for interiors, wall coverings and surfaces.

Matte Texture

The matt tiles have a granular and hard surface without offering reflection in their finish. They help to create a simple, rustic and traditional look. They can be used as bathroom floors and living room floors. As they are durable, they can be used outdoors.

Natural Texture

The surface of a natural tile usually "copies" the finish of the material on which it is based. Specifically, for such a type of stone or pressed cement mortar, the surface will be almost the same as the appearance and feel of the natural material, of course with its own characteristics and designs. Ideally they can give meaning to bathroom wall coverings, interior - exterior walls and kitchen walls. You are given the opportunity to feel literally authentic.

Semi-polished Texture - Lappato

By Lappato or Semi Levigato, we mean a touch of polished texture on the surface of the tile. In contrast to the natural texture which does not offer any shine in its final result, the semi-polished texture in its appearance seems elegant and timeless in places such as building entrances and waiting areas.

Non-slip Texture - Grip

Ideal surface in everything related to the liquid element, such as the surrounding pool area, shared bathrooms and showers. These tiles offer an extremely durable slip surface known as R-11. Specially designed for outdoor areas and wet surfaces where non-slip resistance is essential. Keep in mind that the risk of slipping is impossible to eliminate completely but these tiles are suitable for public places where the flow of traffic is unstoppable.

Most of the tile collections we offer are available in natural and non-slip surface. This solution is ideal for those who want a uniform result indoors - outdoors. Of course you should be aware that if two different surfaces are used the appearance of the materials may have a slight difference even though they have the same design.

2 cm / 20 mm Thickness

As for outdoor space, it can not be combined with the category of tiles 2 cm (20 mm) in thickness. These are special rows of tiles from the factories so that their use is impermeable to water, not damaged by damage, not permanently stained but also not broken.

With multiple options when installing them, they are ideal for patios, balconies, paths as well as for indoor areas that have high traffic or need resistance to heavy loads.

All rows of 2 cm tiles are also available in the non-slip category. You can see the specific series by clicking here.

Rectified Tiles

All porcelain tiles are able to pass the standard factory tests and go through a precise correction process. By rectified, we mean that each tile has after the above procedure lines cut with precision and the same size.

As part of the tile making process, porcelain materials are baked at extremely high temperatures which cause them to shrink, so it is an ideal cutting time to get the exact size. The most interesting feature for this category of tiles is that when they are placed the lines are so unified that they make the result largely uniform so that narrow joints can be used or not at all.

Metal texture

Reflections of metal for an authentic and high-tech look. With a decisive and innovative character, the metallic texture will take a dominant position in architectural projects, interior and exterior design with a special and metropolitan style.
